About Us

I grew up in Central Wisconsin and graduated from the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. I've always been passionate about helping people through their pets, and when I saw the need for accessible urgent care in the Fox Valley area, I knew I had to do something about it - that's how Transcend Veterinary was born. In medicine, I'm especially passionate about soft tissue surgery, procedures, and ultrasound. I love working with pets and their families to find solutions and provide care when it's needed most. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and being outdoors - camping, hiking, and kayaking are some of my favorite ways to recharge. At home, we currently have three angel fish and cherish the memory of our beloved cat, Ivan, who we lost last year. Once life settles down after starting the business, we're excited to open our home to a dog - most likely a black lab, my favorite breed since I grew up with them!

Hi, I'm Dr. Jansen! I graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. I began my career in a busy general practice and recently transitioned to urgent care. I'm passionate about helping pets when they need it most by providing compassionate, timely care that's accessible and affordable for the community. Outside of work, I love traveling, discovering new foods and cultures, and creating art through painting, crocheting, and other crafts. At home, I share life with four cats and a lovable chihuahua who keeps things delightfully furry. I'm thrilled to be part of the Transcend team and can't wait to meet you and your pets!

 Hi, I'm Sarah! I've been working in veterinary medicine since 2005 and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2010. I was born and raised right here in the Fox Valley, so it's special to be able to serve the community I grew up in. At home, I share life with my partner Jason, our long-haired Tortie cat, Rhea and Maeve our mixed breed dog that keeps us entertained with her antics. Outside of work, I'm happiest outdoors. Whether it be hiking, traveling, at a concert, collecting old vinyl records and vintage treasures, spending time with my incredible family and friends or cheering on the Green Bay Packers! 

Hi, I'm Samantha! I've been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2014 and recently transitioned into urgent care. I'm honored to be part of a brand-new clinic in the Fox Valley, where I'm passionate about helping animals and their people through life's toughest moments. At home, life is just as busy with my husband, Shawn, our daughter Charlotte, two dogs (Levi and Giannis), and three cats (Kiwi, Booger, and Minnow). When I'm not at the clinic, you'll usually find me enjoying family time or relaxing on the deck with a good book and a coffee (or wine lol). 

Hi, I'm Brenda! I've been a certified veterinary technician since 2010 and love that every day in this field brings something new to learn. I'm proud to be part of a team dedicated to providing the best care for our clients' furry family members. At home, life is full with my husband Adam, our daughter Kenna, and two cats, Ceilidh & Korra. Outside of work, I enjoy playing bagpipes with my band Chicago Celtic, riding horses, and ballroom dancing with friends. In the winter, you'll usually find me curled up with hot chocolate and a good book. 

Hi there! I'm Alissa, a veterinary assistant with a passion for supporting families and their pets during life's most important moments of care. After many years in general practice, I'm excited to now be there for families in urgent care, where it's an honor to help when they need it most. Outside of work, I love spending time with my fiancé, our energetic daughter, and our pets - Bug the cuddly Sphynx, Moe the mischievous shorthair, and Hal the loyal hound mix. I also enjoy boating, camping, and winding down with a good book. 

Hello, I'm Amanda! I've been working in the veterinary field as a veterinary assistant since 2012. Growing up on a small farm sparked my lifelong love for animals. I began my career at a small but very busy veterinary clinic in northern Wisconsin. Over the years, working at different clinics has helped me expand my skills, deepen my knowledge, and strengthen my passion for patient care - all of which have led me to Transcend Veterinary. I'm thrilled to be part of this new journey in urgent care and proud to work alongside an amazing team that truly believes in providing excellent, affordable care for pets in the Fox Valley area. Outside of work, I share my life with my husband, Kory; our three German Shepherds - Kalani, Havok, and Rayne - and our cat, Thunder. (I'm convinced Thunder will outlive us all and rule the world someday!) In my spare time, I enjoy training and competing with two of my German Shepherds, reading, spending time outdoors, and watching movies. 

Hi I'm Alondra! I've been a veterinary receptionist since 2022 and a veterinary assistant since 2025, driven by deep passion for veterinary medicine - especially helping all the fur babies and their owners. I recently joined the Transcend Veterinary team to continue growing in the field, and it's already been an incredible journey! At home, life is full with my amazing husband and our three pups: Cooper, Ryle, and Skyla. Outside of work, you'll find me exploring nature, admiring mushrooms, hiking, crocheting, drawing, tattooing, or just creating something new.
