Surgical Referral Guide & Support
For Primary Care Veterinary Clinics
Transcend Veterinary Urgent Care is now accepting referrals from primary care veterinary practices for select surgical procedures, sedated treatments, and specialized medical cases. Our goal is to support our local veterinary community by providing flexible scheduling, high-quality care, and open communication from start to finish.
Referrals are accepted on a first-come, first-served and triage basis during our regular hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Clinics can easily submit referrals using the link below to add patients to our Virtual Queue, where our team will triage and coordinate scheduling. Critically unstable patients should be sent directly to Blue Pearl Emergency Hospital
Referral Process

- Complete the brief form with patient details and reason for referral.
- Our team will triage and contact the owner directly to coordinate care.
- Referring veterinarians will receive updates and discharge summaries for all referred patients.

- Soft Tissue Surgeries Only – We do not perform orthopedic procedures.
- We are not board-certified surgeons.
- If you would like to confirm whether we perform a specific soft tissue surgery that is not on the following list, please call our team directly.

- Amputations (digits, tails, etc. – medically necessary only)
- Cherry Eye Repair
- Confirmed GI Foreign Body Removal
- C-Section
- Cystotomy
- Ear Hematoma Repair
- Ectropion Repair
- Enucleation
- Entropion (Temporary Lid Tacking & Surgical Repair)
- Feeding Tube Placement (Nasogastric, Esophageal, Gastrostomy)
- Gastropexy
- Laceration Repair
- Mass Removals (including eyelid masses <⅓ lid length)
- Pyometra Surgery
- Routine Spay / Neuter (Referral Only, including cryptorchid)
- Torn Nail Repair
- Umbilical Hernia Repair
- Urinary Blocked Cat (Mon–Wed)
